These days, I work online with clients around the world. In other words, I do distance energy healing and readings.
I have worked in complementary health since 2010. Like many people in the wellness field, I started as someone who needed healing and was inspired to help others because of my own experiences.
These days, I mainly use kinesiology (I've trained in two types, namely: Neuroenergetic Kinesiology and Kinergetics). I am also Reiki-attuned. Tarot works so well with energy healing that I continue to use and learn card systems.
But let me backtrack a bit...
As a child I suffered with chronic eczema. Finding no lasting improvement with conventional approaches (and feeling really annoyed when I read that cortisone cream's side-effects include thinning of the skin), I changed my diet, which helped a lot. It improved even more with homeopathy (which at the time made no sense to me, but it worked - that was what mattered to me). A friend recommended that I try kinesiology. I did so out of pure curiosity and no expectations, and was surprised that the last remaining stubborn patches of eczema disappeared with just two sessions of kinesiology which addressed the emotional components of my skin issue (and this ultimately inspired me to study kinesiology many years later).
My direct experience showed me that our health truly is multi-faceted: we need to support our physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual aspects of ourselves
It took me a while to get to what I practise now. I first attained a science degree (majoring in Botany and Environmental & Geographical Science).
Inspired by my earlier experiences, I later studied nutritional therapy (holistic nutrition coaching), graduating with distinction from a multi-year diploma course.
While practising nutrition in Hong Kong, I noticed how many of my nutrition clients' health issues (like poor health or difficulty maintaining healthy habits) were really due to the stresses of life in a metropolis. I decided to study reiki and energy kinesiology, thinking they would be useful add-ons for my nutrition clients, but they rapidly became my main focus.
After that, I encountered Tarot by lucky coincidence, finding it easy to integrate with my work because it complements kinesiology so well.
I used to work face-to-face in a healing centre in Hong Kong. I then moved to Japan, and the events of 2020 got me to use distance healing techniques with kinesiology so I could better serve my clients. I now only do remote healing and online readings for the convenience it offers to everyone.
